JAM Commentary by Hiroshi Ishida

Note: This little essay provides a nice history of Luci'fer's musical career and releases. Some sentences are really flowery and long (*cough*brutal*cough*) so I tried putting it in as good of an english translation I could.. umm I tried. ^_^

On the day of the rebellion against God, the treacherous angel Lucifer was transformed into the flying demon Lucifer Luscious Violenoue'. When I first knew Lucifer, she was still the vocalist of a rock band. Now that some time has passed, I met her again in the middle of the production of "the Kingdom of Roses " demo tape; she has already changed her former appearance and has become a Vampire. The music is also different- it is now about a Vampire whose sorrow enchants the roses. Whether by lyrics of speech, music or dialogue (Romance), the scents of "love" and "blood" and "death" all mix together into a bewitching world. In the times that we let go of reality, a Lucifer lives inside of us- one that performs drama and romance, yet is a master of corrupt words.
In the produced package, Lucifer has continued to create Romances that are like strange illusions. However, theses Romances are not muddled darkness- they are the product of Lucifer's love for roses. As such, in her first solo album "yameru bara, arui wa iyasanai kizuguchi" [Passionate Roses, a Possibly Incurable Wound], the last song was "Tantus Amor Radicorum- All my Love for the Roses". The uttered words of this one-man show suggested one meaning- that fearful dreams held beautiful forbidden pleasures. {Living buried underground, "my" body is violated in the company of crimson roses spread around "me"- as bloody is being sucked from me, the flowers all around me bloody dark read. "I" take hold of the rose stems and drown in dreams of ecstasy.} To die for the roses was the greatest form of perfection in her world.
